View AllWhat are your working hours?
The Raintree Clinic is open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, 7 days a week (we request that all visitors kindly call ahead to book an appointment). We also run emergency night hours from 8:00 pm to 9:00 am, however we ask that you call in advance in case of a night emergency.
What kinds of animals do you treat?
Our vets have experience treating dogs, cats, horses, birds (both pet and urban wildlife), rabbits, reptiles, turtles and terrapins, and more. In the rare event that we are unable to help you, we will do our best to redirect you to a relevant specialist.
What should I do in the event of an emergency?
In the event of an emergency, such as a critical injury or illness, choking, bloated stomachs, accidents such as falls, road accidents, etc., we ask that you call us immediately on 8830207984. Our veterinarians will assess the situation, and will open the clinic for you if the animal requires emergency surgery/treatment. Our emergency hours are from 8:00 pm to 9:00 am. Please note that night emergency rates apply. Our team will relay all relevant information to you prior to any surgery/treatment.
What are your emergency charges and terms?
Like all medical cases, emergencies are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Much like a human emergency room, in the case of night emergencies, we request payment of a deposit, which is then adjusted against your total bill. This deposit ensures that your pet can receive continuous access to resources such as oxygen and ventilation. You will also be requested to fill out standard registration and consent forms for medical procedures where applicable.
I can’t reach you via phone. What should I do?
For general enquiries and appointments, please try calling us again on 9175275957 (11:00 am to 8:00 pm). Sometimes, we may experience a high volume of calls, which is why our number may be busy. Please try again, and we’ll be sure to assist you with your query. For emergencies, please call us on 8830207984. You can also send us a WhatsApp message; our vets will revert as soon as we can.
Do you provide online consultations?
Yes, we do! Please email us on [email protected]. Kindly note that while we are happy to provide a second opinion based on your pet’s scans and tests, we do not prescribe medicines either electronically or telephonically, as this would be unethical and not in your animal’s best interests. For additional information or clarification, please email us and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
Do you provide physiotherapy for animals?
At Raintree, we believe in a holistic approach to physiotherapy and recovery. We provide a range of physiotherapy options practiced by licensed professionals. Every animal is unique, and assessments are made based on your pet’s medical history and current requirements. Depending on your pet’s needs, rehabilitative therapy options at Raintree include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture, and e-stim treatment.
Can I bring my dogs for a swim?
Absolutely! Swimming is a great way to burn off excess energy, and makes for a healthy, vet-approved cardiovascular workout. We provide package memberships as well as single swim sessions. Please call or email us for more information on our pool packages. If your pet has never been treated by a Raintree vet before, we may ask you a few questions regarding their age and health status prior to arranging your pool visit.
Do you provide grooming services?
Yes, our team is happy to provide grooming and spa services via prior appointment. Please call us on 9175275957 for more information.
Can I buy pet food and grooming products at the clinic?
Yes. Raintree Essentia, our in-clinic store, offers a wide range of pet food (including prescription food), treats, grooming and wellness products including raincoats, dog beds, etc. If you would like to enquire regarding a specific product, please call us on 9175275957.
Do you treat rescues/stray animals?
At Raintree, we treat pets, rescues and strays with equal amounts of love and compassion. If you have rescued an animal that needs medical attention, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our vets.
Can you provide on-site treatment or help me rescue a dog?
Unfortunately, given that we are not trained rescuers and have very limited manpower at the clinic, we cannot offer on-site treatment or come and rescue an animal for you. However, if you could bring the animal to the clinic, our vets would be happy to treat the animal. If you would like assistance with rescuing an animal in need, please contact a local animal rescuer, private ambulance or organisation.
I’d like to volunteer or intern with Raintree.
That’s great! Please write to us on [email protected], and we’ll get back to you soon.
Does Raintree conduct any events?
We do! As part of the Raintree Relief Project, every Republic Day, we organise a free Anti-Rabies Vaccination Drive for stray dogs and cats. This is a community event whereby we hope to vaccinate as many animals as we can, and also educate friends and neighbours about the importance of vaccinating street animals. In 2021, we extended this vaccination drive to include free first-time anti-rabies vaccinations for newly adopted indie dogs and cats on Republic Day.
We also host a Grief Support Group (overseen by a licensed psychiatrist) for bereaved pet parents. Our support groups are free and open to all.
If you’d like to participate or help us organise future events, please reach out to us on [email protected]. Do keep an eye on our social media pages for event announcements.
